Athletic facilities include tennis courts at the Schodack Central School Complex and the Castleton Elementary School while fans can watch professional and college sports at many venues, year-round, in the Capital Region.

Recreational

Fishermen find abundant catches in trout streams and the Hudson River; hunters are often welcome on farmland and woodlots throughout the town. (Please, obtain the landowner's permission first.)
