Payment Options

Traditional Payment Methods- Bills may be paid in person at our office at 265 Schuurman Road, Castleton, or may be mailed to P.O. Box 436, East Schodack, NY 12063. If you require a receipt, be sure to bring or mail the entire bill with your payment.  Please make checks payable to the "RECEIVER OF TAXES".  If you are mailing your payment, a United States Post Office postmark (not postage meter) is the only VALID acceptable dated delivery for timely payment determination. Please Note: $20 Fee for returned checks and NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Electronic Payment Options (Property and School Taxes Only)- Payment may also be made by debit or credit card through egov.basny.com/schodack Please note: There is a fee for this service. With a VISA^@ debit card there is a convenience fee of only $3.95.  Taxpayers can also pay with a MasterCard^@, Visa^@ or  Discover^@ credit card for a low 2.45% convenience fee. Online E checks via this website cost $1.75.

Water/Sewer Payment Options - You can now make water/sewer payments online via electronic check or credit card at schodack.ezonlinepayments.com.  There is a 2.75% online payments convenience fee for paying by credit card (with a $2.95 minimum) or a $2.95 per transaction for paying by electronic check.  Making payments online is fast, easy and safe.  It takes just five simple steps.
