The Zoning Board of Appeals is the body which considers and decides on requests for variances, when an application has been found inconsistent with the Zoning Law (originally adopted in 1971). Most applications for development go first to the Planning and Zoning Department and the Planning Board, which is responsible for deciding if an application conforms to the Zoning Law.

The Zoning Law, Zoning map and Subdivision of Land and Design and Construction Standards can be purchased at the Town Clerk's Office.

The Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members:

· Sue Goold Miller

The Zoning Board will conduct meetings during 2008 on the third Thursday of each month beginning at 7 p.m. The dates appear near the top, right corner of this page. If there is no business, the ZBA will not meet. Please call the Planning and Zoning Department to confirm meeting dates.
