Tax Receiver's Monthly Report Note 1 Date: January 2, 2013 The total tax warrant for the January 2013 Town and County taxes is $14,638,513.31 of which $6,392,701.92, is allocated to the Town of Schodack,compared to $6,415,539.83 for 2012, and $6,250,610.82 for 2011. Tax bills were received from Rensselaer County on Friday, December 28th. Bills were mailed to the taxpayers on Monday, December 31st. The tax office will be open during January and February, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM and 2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M., offering extended hours for the taxpayers' convenience on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 7 AM to 6 PM. During, March, the office will be open Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 A.M to 4:30 PM. The final day of collection will be March 31, 2013. Total tax funds collected for 2012 amounted to $30,640,724.62 compared to $29,788,553.04 for 2011. Water and sewer receipts for 2012 totaled $537,213.46 compared with $473,667.34 for 2011. Total funds collected in the Tax office for 2012 amounted to $31,177,938.08. Note 1 Because of the tax calendar the months May through August only rarely produce reportable events. Town and County tax bills since September 2005 can be reviewed at this site. School Tax Payments: This office has no role in collecting Averill Park and Ichabod Crane School District taxes. However, for your convenience, they do provide tax bill information at infotaxonline. You'll find both AP and IC in the list of districts.
