Schodack is located in the southwestern corner of Rensselaer County, New York. It's part of New York's Capital Region, about 15 miles by Interstate from downtown Albany.

that the Assessor for the Town of Schodack, Rensselaer County, has available for review assessment inventory and valuation data. Re: Northeast Energy pipeline The Federal Energy Regulatory Agency has posted a Notice of Intent. Local scoping meetings will be held at Birch Hill on July 14 & 15. Comments are due by August 31st.

Gas Line Survey Info: Effective 15 April, HMM Surveyors are accessing Private Properties (only those that they have been granted permission to access) and National grid properties to conduct necessary surveys. Louis Berger Surveyors has been in the area taking pictures of properties from the road since 14 April.

Reminder: If your dog poops in the Town Park be considerate of other users and pick it up and dispose of it pooperly!

Bridge Closed: The bridge on Sweets Crossing Road in the Town of Schodack will remain closed until further notice. Please contact the Schodack Highway Department with any questions.

The PSC is conducting a Telecommunications Study. The initially posted information is here with a link to all related documents near the bottom of the page. The latest announcement of Public Information and Comment sessions is in this notice. Written comments may be submitted to the Commission before August 24.
