Schodack is located (detailed town map) in the southwestern corner of Rensselaer County, New York. It's part of New York's Capital Region, about 15 miles by Interstate from downtown Albany.

The Transfer Station will be closed on Tues, Feb 21 (Observance of Presidents' Day) and resume regular business hours Wed, Feb 22. Questions? Office of the Town Clerk, 477-7590, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm.
