Ambulance 14

Ambulance 14
"A14" is the newer (2003) and larger of our two ambulances (we also operate MCI-50, a vehicle especially equipped to help us deal with a Mass Casualty Incident).

Cab, A14 A14 was built on a Chevy C4500 chassis by Cromwell Emergency Vehicles. It is diesel powered and equipped with communications equipment (left) for dispatch and coordination with Advanced Life Support and hospitals and with warning devices required for safe emergency transport.

In emergency, call 911

in the patient area of A14
The patient area allows CVAS volunteers to provide care during transport to a hospital.

compartment, driver-side rear, A14 compartment, passenger-side rear, A14 Exterior compartments (like the rear-left and rear-right areas seen here) allow quick access to supplies which may be needed at the scene of an incident. The rear-left compartment seen here is a "pass thru" design, which also allows access from the interior of the ambulance. Interior cabinets hold supplies and equipment which may be needed during transport.
